NZXT Phantom

When NZXT's new Phantom case ($139.99 list) arrived in Ziff Davis Labs recently, someone observed that it looked like something an Imperial Stormtrooper would own. And, well, we could see his point. The version of the Phantom that NZXT had sent us was...

Generous interior space. Excellent tool-free features. Easy fan control. Comes in three colors (inside and out)

Front intake fan and 200mm side-panel fan not included. Two 120mm side-panel fans each require cabling. Glossy front and top panels may seem potentially cheap

The comfortably priced NZXT Phantom offers 12 drive bays and more than enough room to house an ATX or Extended ATX motherboard. Though there is room (and one-button controls) for many fans, only a few are included; and the glossy exterior (available in...

NZXT Phantom Review

Stunning design; plenty of room for fans; great value

Needs a front fan; thinks it's a full-tower

We expected the lack of a front fan to hurt the Phantom’s cooling performance, and it did. Though its CPU cooling score was second-worst in the pack, GPU and system temperatures ran as cool as the LanBoy Air—once again proving the merit of side intake...

NZXT Phantom Review

NZXT's latest case innovation. Taking its name from Rolls Royce's premium range of engineered automobile, will the Phantom live up to that name?

Beautiful aesthetics ; Excellent options for expansion ; Very functional - fan controller - tool-less ; Dual radiator support ; Good cooling ; Amazing value

Lack of USB3.0 support

Readers, enthusiasts and consumers were right to get excited about NZXT's new offering in the Phantom. I've seen style over substance quite a number of times but the Phantom doesn't only look fantastic but it feels, operates and handles in this way...

AMD's launch of their next generation of GPU's is no secret. While we still cannot give you any specifications or performance numbers, we can tell you the names, as well as give you some photos of the reference cards.

The NZXT Phantom is a great computer case and is well worth the price tag to any enthusiast who is serious about their rig. We are proud to give it the Bjorn3D Golden Bear Award.

NZXT Phantom Review

Now this is not an ordinary case; it's white, and it has a unique shape. Is this design a hit, or a complete miss?

NZXT really did a nice job on the Phantom's exterior design. It's pretty impressive dressed in white, and will for sure make many heads turn. That's not to say it has no flaws, though. The top angled panel has lots of room inside it, in between the...

Excellent cooling potential; Spacious interior

Plastic, glossy exterior can be a fingerprint magnet

NZXT Phantom

Stealthy looks, great features, and an attractive price.

The look of the NZXT Phantom is impressive with a fully black finish inside and out, a sophistication with its pristine contours, this case is a beauty.

NZXT Phantom Review

Established in 2004, NZXT is a manufacturer that many computer enthusiasts have become fans of. Having manufactured some very popular computer products in the case and cooling category, NZXT is even beginning to dive into high end power supply units....

Great Looks ; Huge amounts of room ; Virtually toolless ; Accommodations for external water cooling loops ; Room for a dual radiator inside the case

Finish fingerprints easily ; Temperatures not the greatest, adding fans would most likely fix this ; Cutout for heatsink access hole may not work on all motherboards

I must say that the NZXT Phantom is superior in quality and offers many great features. The amount of space on the interior is astronomical and will surely be a great choice for many computer users today, as well as for long periods of time in the...

Review – NZXT Phantom

When it comes to your PC, looks aren't everything. I believe the old phrase is “don't judge a book by its cover.” Despite this, most gamers like to have a case that can turn heads, or at least cock a few eyebrows. Well that was exactly what case maker...

The last thing I’ll touch on is the price. The Phantom will set you back $140 when it launches in September. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a full-tower case of this quality for a price like that. Whether you have a lot of hardware to install, or just...

NZXT Phantom

Phantom er stilig, støysvakt og kjølig, men alt er ikke bare fryd og gammen.

Stilig utseende; God kabelhåndtering; Lave temperaturer; Medfølgende viftestyring for 7 vifter; Lettvinn montering

Mye plast; Lite støy-/vibrasjonsdemping; Ikke USB 3.0 i funksjonspanelet

Rett ut av esken skal Phantom i følge NZXT være et kabinett som oser av både personlighet og kvalitet, og det vil vi si oss delvis enig i. Personligheten er definitivt tilstede, men det er også plastfølelsen når du leker med den.
