Still the best toaster you can buy, fast, flexible and built to last

Good points: Coverage was good for batch toasting. Bagels toasted evenly, the backs staying soft. The front facing crumb tray is easy to pull out and empty. The lever means you can pop up toast at any time and return without resetting the timer....

We decided to invest in this toaster despite the hefty price tag as we thought the quality would be high and it would last forever. Unfortunately it is terrible. The bread cooks unevenly, often with burnt corners but without cooking through the middle....

Apparently this expensive toasters are the best.....but when mine was delivered, the metal fingers inside the slots were catching on the element protector bars to such a degree that the lifting/lowering knob would not work at all. I had to adjust them...

Excellent product, well made and much more efficient than previous toaster. Would have bought the latest kettle too, if it had been made in the same colour as the toaster, which is apple red.

Looks and performs like a high quality piece of equipment. The relatively high price compared with other toasters is more than justified. An excellent purchase in my opinion.
