I can see the back-lighting is not uniform, but only noticeable as center brightness when viewing the blue screen saver. The audio is certainly loud 2 x 10 watt, yet output lacks bass. Printed instructions are indeterminate; on-screen set-up is better...

If you want to use a universal remote, like a directv remote use 10154 for the remote code.

Good picture, 3 HDMI ports

Pretty good for the money

 

My daughter got a Samsung 55" curved 4K tv. This cannot match that nor does it match my 50" Visio, but it is acceptable with all the inputs and outputs especially at this price.

Nice size perfect for the corner of my office, video quality is good, not the best but at this price point very acceptable. easy to install base - all my screws were there and worked fine.

I took off an egg because of the sound. Although a good set of computer speakers or a sound bar would solve that. I had an older set of Altec Lansings with a bass box. Solved this issue.

Not bad

 

For 200 bucks free shipping and no tax this was definitely worth it. No problems so far. Picture doesn't look that rich but for the price I'm ok with that.

Not a bad tv. Super cheap.

Assembly instructions pretty vague. Richness of color is noticeably worse than my 10 year old Toshiba lcd this replaced.

SIGCUS 42" TV returned twice

 

No confidence in this unknown brand. The first tv came with a video problem. Sent it back for replacement. That one had a video problem as well. Went to a major retailer and bought a better tv that I could return to a local store if it didn't work.

The online RMA system was easy to deal with.

Faulty Screen. Vertical and Horizontal lines across the screen.

Sigcus 42 inch TV

 

Sigcus is a new USA company, formed in 2015 and I hesitated just a bit as I did not recognize the name brand, but the very low price for the 42 inch tv caught my interest.The TV was very easy to set up and I did not have any trouble mounting the base...

Delivery was on time Packaging was adequate for protecting TV from shipping damages Excellent picture quality for price point of TV 3 HDMI ports 10 watt speakers ( 2 )

Sound is not premium quality but acceptable

SGC 42E - mixed feelings

 

Still waiting for a reply from support for the codes for my Comcast controller. Also, could not register the product on the SIGCUS page as it on listed the SGC 42B not "E" model. Did not want to register a product I do not own and cause later confusion.

Nice price at $224 for BF special. Feather light for the size.

Agreed, speakers leave a lot to be desired. Sound under any of the available options are horrible. Even the equalizer for user settings are lacking in real range. 150 Hz, 500Hz,1KHz,5KHz & 10KHz leaves little to play with to maximize quality. Literally...

You Get What You Pay For

 

I knew what I was getting into by choosing a TV with no reviews and no name recognition. I took the Black Friday risk ($210, how could I refuse?), but was it worth it? I've been using this TV for gaming for about a week now. The video is good...

Incredible price for a 42" 1080p TV, lots of inputs and audio outputs, good video quality

Absolutely terrible audio quality, vague assembly instructions, unintuitive input selection via remote and button on TV (for you Nintendo fans out there, you cannot change the TV's input from your Wii U game pad)

screws don't fit

 

good price, decent TV

The screws that attach the base to the neck are too big, I had to use my own screws (which are visibly smaller). SMH

Seems ok, but no screws? Seriously?

 

Would rate it higher but the fact that they provide screws and they don't even fit is a big con. I laughed at all the QC approved stickers everywhere because if they actually did quality check it, they'd see the screws don't fit.

Low cost, decent picture. I like the base design as well.

Terrible sound quality, very tinny. Screws provided to mount base don't fit.
