This set up is fantastic while it works. All 5 of my speakers still work but my subwoofer amplifier recently went out. I guess electronics are not meant to last forever.

Amplifier in Subwoofer went out 2.5 years later. I have sent an email to Polk Audio and will call them to see what can be done about the replacement of the subwoofer and or just the amplifier board.

The only issue I've had, and one that is completely understandable is that with the N64, some of the games are too low res to be upscaled to HDMI. This would be fixable by running another video cable to the projector, but that would require more work...
