Great business laptop

Great keyboard, good touchpad, and the awesome Thinkpad nubbin-mouse. Good performance, good battery life, HDMI output, plenty of USB ports and a built in card reader, light, very small footprint in your bag, on the airplane tray and on your hotel...

None.. well a SSD as the main drive would make this basically perfect

Overall, a solid machine

I'm a nerd so I upgraded to 8gb ram and installed a Seagate Momentus XT. The Seagate might be the reason I tend to get 4.5 hours of batter life as opposed to 5.

The default configuration isn't bad: 4GB ram, 7200 rpm hard drive, AMD graphics, Windows 7 Professional, gigabit ethernet, and a 1.6Ghz CPU capable of out-of-order execution, meaning it does not make the compromises that Intel's Atom makes. Very solid...

The display has limited viewing angles. Battery life is good but not spectacular - 4.5 hours. The quality of construction is more like a Dell than a Lenovo, though the display hinge does not have any looseness. I've been unable to find a larger...

Perfect for Work

It is even quicker after I switched out the hard drive for an Intel 320 160GB SSD. Also, the Lenovo software generally is pretty decent, although there is a good amount of bloatware.

I bought this as I needed a light laptop to handle Lotus Notes, word processing and other business related tasks. It does all that perfectly. Nice and light and the keyboard is untouchable in the segment

The battery sticks out of the back and the fan is audible. Also, the screen is fine for me but I could see how someone with eyesight problems could find the text too small

great little netbook

I first installed the x25-m 80gb intel ssd into it, ran perfect. Later moved the x25-m to my desktop and put a generic old samsung ssd into, didn't have any problems with either ssd.

faster than any atom that i've used. Outperforms my brother's amd ql-62 and geforce 8200 in all video games (left4dead, minecraft, ace of spades). Good battery life (i keep wifi disabled and dim the screen and get about 6 or 7 hours out of it, with...

Common problem with x120e is a strange video artifact after not fullying going to sleep (machine starts to sleep, but you wake it suddenly, strange lines appear). Easily fixable by simply forcing it go back to sleep fully and re awaking it, not really...

ThinkPad Sweetness!

Just a side note, this is about $200-$300 cheaper than what I would have paid from Lenovo.

Shopped around for a while before finalizing my decision to this one. I LOVE the keyboard! Very user friendly. This is my first ThinkPad but not my first Lenovo. Had an Ideapad Y510 before this. Needed something more portable for medic school and work...

It is a bit heavy for it's size, but I'm ok with that. Thought this came with a backlit keyboard and haven't found how to turn it on if it does have that feature

Lovin it!

Like any new device, there is a slight learning curve to the keyboard. I feel that this has a very small curve, as I picked up typing decently in about 2 hours of playing with it. When I was looking for a new laptop, I was looking for a netbook, but...

Very small, sleek, lightweight, but not cheap, design. Feels really solid and robust ; Very quite fan when not using 100% CPU. Seems to stay very cool compared to the old Toshiba Tecra M3 I replaced with this ; My favorite part of this laptop is the...

No "pause" key, so I can't shortcut to system properties by pressing windows key + pause ; Bluethooth can't be enabled without installing Lenovo's Power Management drivers and On Screen Display for function keys

As another reviewer mentioned, the E-350 can be undervolted to increase battery life and cut down on fan noise. Using BrazosTweaker here are the lowest stable undervolts I was able to achieve at the E-350's three P-states. 1600MHz @ 1.1625V 1280MHz @...

E-350 is great for the money. If your budget is $800+ something with a Sandy Bridge mobile like the X220 would be a better choice, but for $400-500 you can't do better than the E-350 in my opinion, Atom/ION doesn't even compare ; Feels very sturdy and...

Screen is pretty lackluster, but that's common for cheaper netbooks and ultraportables, not like this is something that's exclusive to the X120e. Based on the professional reviews I've read, performance metrics like brightness, viewing angles, etc. for...
