Poor design

We have mixed feelings about the iRiver B30. The audio quality and integrated digital radio tuner are great, but its design and control scheme are irritating.

DAB+ tuner. Micro SD slot. FLAC and OGG playback. Great sound.

Even Creative's software is better. Small capacity. Controls are too sensitive. DAB+ antenna is unwieldy.

Idiosyncratic as hell, the iRiver B30 is a feature-complete player with sparkling sound, but it won't put a fire up the Cupertino boys.

We have mixed feelings about the iRiver B30. It’s similarly priced to the 8GB iPod touch, which doesn't have an integrated DAB+ digital radio tuner (but offers a bigger screen, Wi-Fi and lots of apps). We’d definitely like the design to be improved;...

Есть мнение, что история плееров уже практически дописана, и сейчас из-под перьев производителей выходят строки эпилога. Последние устройства этого рынка — это то, что тебе предлагают «на десерт»: исправляют ошибки в домашней работе под названием...

Вот вроде бы неплохой плеер: модное сенсорное управление на месте, относительно большой экран, даже датчик положения имеется — но выглядит всё как-то по-простецки и не органично. Слишком по-азиатски, в худшем смысле. Много функционала, но мало...

Конечно, там, где развито DMB-вещание, плеер бы пригодился гораздо больше. В итоге его главные преимущества для нас не актуальны, зато мы имеем поддержку множества видео- и аудиоформатов. Как мы не раз отмечали по ходу статьи, очень жаль, что экран...
