This is indeed a Chi Mei monitor. It was called a CMV monitor when I bought it a month ago. Now it has that big ugly blue sticker on the front and it's called an AMV.

Excellent image. No dead pix ; The base is perfectly fine. Just don't sit on it

Speakers are good for Windows noises and ok for games if you're not to particular. Not really suitable for DVDs or music

Great stuff. Excellent for the price.

Meets or exceeds what the description is. No dead pixels on arrival. Plays oblivion beautifully. Everyone who sees this monitor makes compliments it

Base weak: unless you are in a earthquake zone, I dont see why this would matter. I tried to take the base off when transporting this monitor, but It didnt want to come off easily, so I just left it on

Decent, cheap monitor. No dead pixels. Internal power supply is nice, the brightness is very good, and the colors look great after you calibrate it. Keeps up with all my games no problem. Also have a Rosewill R912E (another cheap 19 inch LCD), and the...

Still Big and Bright, good price

Remove the sticker on the front...Westinghouse. Amptron is re-branding? Not really a con I guess...Still works good

Big, Bright, and well made ; Excellent Price

One Stuck pixel, turned it off, LIGHT rub, and Gone ; DVI cable somewhat tight, like most others
