AWESOME PICTURE...sound not so much

 

I usually wait a few weeks before a review, but this one, the picture is that good. I'd already been aware of sound, but didn't realize how awful it was. I do have a set of speakers I am hoping will help but sheesh!!

Picture is amazing

Sound is pretty Tinny - kind of like a cross between a dirty needle on a 78 (for those of you who know what a 78 is... lol) and a phone line

This was my first LED tv and I have to say that I am very happy with it. It has a great slim factor that I love! Compared to my other LCD I have in the house, its like night and day comparing the two. Good stuff

This is my first Toshiba product, and it will be my last.

When working, its awesome picture. However, less than two weeks old and it is hosed up

standalone sound is not good, nor not recomended ; BIG PROBLEM: TV came shipped with bad remote control, called Toshiba support, they replaced it within 5 days ; BIGGER PROBLEM: The TV is totally hosed, it has triple ghost image and horizontal lines....

Good Bang for the Buck

 

I was interested in this because it was a cheap TV with good picture quality. It doesn't have things like internet apps or 3-D but i wasn't interested in these items since they just jack up the price. Newegg, as always, was fast to process and ship

The price is great. I got it for ~$400. Good picture quality and features for the price set

The sound is not the best just as on many modern lcd or plasma sets but that is what surround sound is for. The only other issue I have is the lack of analog audio out. It makes it more difficult to set up with an older receiver or HTIB
