This scanner does a good job for portable laptop use on the road, I use it for faxing contracts via wireless broadband from my vehicle. It is very fast and only requires a USB connection

Great form factor - Good looking solution for use with PaperPort document management software

Technical support is terrible. Wait times are long and they want $20 on your card every time you call. Even supervisors dont call you back. Paperport 11 crashes repeatedly using this scanner. Worked with vendor 1 month - and still no reply or solution

It's a disaster. I bought this to replace an older Visioneer Strobe Pro, which worked fine for years. I like the form factor, as the unit fits nicely between keyboard and monitor

Software very buggy, crashed my XP system repeatedly. Driver hard to configure, auto start feature didn't work correctly, paper wiggles during scan, resulting in poor quality scan

Small, quiet, good quality scans, very portable, easy to setup

Proprietary .max format-can be converted later.Sometimes must insert twice-could be machine.
